My puppy meets Wilson

Meet my puppy, Ein. She’s a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She’s super, super cute. Last week she got to meet my brother’s Rottweiler, Wilson. :) Apparently, something she said really surprised poor Wilson. Hee hee!

Hi Alia, my name is Robert, and I really liked the pics of your dogs together. I’m thinking of also getting both of these breeds together, and I’m wondering how do they get along with each other. My gf is concerned that the rottweiler may be too aggressive for the corgi. I would appreciate any feed back you may be able to give us. Thanks alot

Robert: Wilson and Ein love each other to death. When Ein was a tiny puppy, he was a little rough with her, but it wasn't long before she could hold her own. At first, you would need to watch them carefully, but by the time the Corgi is 9 or 10 months, they can pretty much just free play. Occasionally Wilson will get over-excited and has to be calmed down. I think that's how it is with many dogs, but Rotties are particularly large and stubborn. Both breeds are on the dominant side, but Corgis are much more eager to please. I think you would be fine, but Rotties require a LOT LOT LOT of training. You have to be in control of them at all times and you have to be willing to put in the time to train. My sister-in-law spends a lot of time training Wilson.
