So, I went (with about 70 of my classmates) to the Grand Sumo Tournament today. It was a lot of fun. I’m too tired to explain the details of Sumo tonight, but I have created this video of images and clips from the tournament. The tournament lasts 14 days, and this was only day 6. I neglected to put the date into the video, but it took place on January 19th, 2008. Also, the video quality is a little low, because I uploaded a compressed version (the full one was 1.2 gigs, and it would have taken forever to upload). Instead, I uploaded my iphone quality version, so hopefully you can still read the text.
I’m very proud of myself. Even though this is a noob video, it was my very first iMovie compilation involving any more than just still images. Those of you who know me know that my technological expertise does not reside in videography. Anyway, I hope it is not too offensive to those of you who are video aficionados. :) I tried my best in the hour or so that it took me. There is one really nasty cut where my camera accidentally took a still photo in the middle. I forgot to cut it out, but maybe I’ll go back and edit it later.
