The way that Sakura House displays photos of the rooms on their site uses a wide angle lens. This doesn’t surprise me at all, but some people might not realize how much larger that makes a room look in a photograph…
The room in this video is the largest room that Togoshi offers at 14 sq meters. It’s the kind of room I’m hoping to secure at Togoshi. If you look at the photo that Sakura House publishes of room 501, you get this:
If you take a look at this video posted on you tube of the 5th floor and room 501, you will see it really looks like this:
The difference is pretty staggering. I’m sure it will be fine for people to visit, etc, but it just goes to show that I really can’t have anything less than 13 or 14 sq. meters if I want people to be able to sleep in my room at night.
